Dear All,
I am a new user of Adobe Audition.
I have many audio files of ripped CD's that are one large file.
I mean not separated in tracks.
So I want to edit these files to create tracks of each song.
Instead of marking the gaps between songs I would prefer if Audition automatically create the marks between gaps and create tracks for the audio file.
Can anyone please help me how to do this?
Thank you very much!

You should be able to do this using the Delete Silence and Mark Audio options, but whether this would be precise enough as an automated process is doubtful. As for how to proceed, you need to look here and here (to find out about markers).
In future it's best, if you want to break a CD into tracks, to remove the check from Extract to Single File in the popup box for ripping. This way, each track will result in its own file anyway.
