Automatic pitch correction and popping noises

I added the effect "automatic pitch correction" to some clips and it is creating a popping noise in the vocals. I checked, and the noise is not from the original file. How do I fix this and what's causing it?

    I am experiencing the exact same issue. Didn't happen in Adobe audition 2020. And it used to work perfectly! Going to try what SuiteSpot said...because this is very frustrating.

      I'd remove the 'automatic pitch correction' and that will fix it

      If you have to use the 'automatic pitch correction' then try backing off the sensitivity setting and see if that helps

      If it was me I'd use 'manual pitch correction' - it is very effective but it is a lot of work
