Automatically adjust runaways in audio track?

Hello, I'm using Audition CC and have a question: My soundtrack has (thanks to my voice...) sometimes small "runaways" / outliers up and down (see picture attached).

Currently I still edit each outlier by hand, that is: I mark each one individually and pull down the volume so far that the outlier fits the rest of the audio track. My question: Can Audition do this automatically? I have quite a few outliers, it gets annoying at some point to edit it by hand.

Best regards

Stephan

Effects>Amplitude and Compression>Speech Volume Leveler. This will do the whole job for you. Actually any form of limiter will; you just set the threshold value to a value beyond which you don't want the amplitude to go, and apply it to the whole track.
