Although the Mbox is perfectly working (tested in Garageband) Audition does not get any input from it. I have tried all different settings regarding sampling rates and clock and it remains mute. If someone can give me some directions I would appreciate.

Are you saying that Audition is not receiving signal - or Audition is not recognizing the device? It works here on Mac with no issues.

Not receiving signal, it is configured exactly as the screenshot you posted. My iMac is running High Sierra 10.13.6 and the Macbook running Catalina latest version, neither one works. As I posted, the Mbox setup as an audio device in OS is fine because Garageband recognizes it.

Well, if it works with a Mac, then are you using it on a PC? If you are, then have you tried altering the driver class to ASIO?

Would you care to tell us what the solution was, just in case anybody else has the same problem?

Yep, glad to contribute, settings for the Mbox in the MIDI and Audio configuration were incorrect, input at one rate and output at another rate even with Audition set to use a different output, meaning, input from Mbox and output from integrated headphone jack. As simple as that. The little piece between the chair and the screen (me in this case) never thought about it and kept configuring input only.
