I wish to remix a bunch of music clips and then increase the duration of all of them to the same length. Is there a way to record a favourite for this so that I can batch process them?
Each time I try this by creating a multitrack mixdown and doing it on one clip, when I stop recording the favourite it gives a "nothing recorded" error.

No I'm afraid that you won't be able to create a favourite that does this at all, as the favourite system simply cannot cope with entire variable file lengths. If you could get it to work on one, then it wouldn't work correctly on anything of a different length.
