Question

Can I create an MP3 saving profile?

Hello,

is there any possibility to save all the MP3 parameters to a profile that can be used when saving to MP3 format? I want to easily apply all the possible settings to automatically preserve that all my saved MP3 files have the same parameters.

Thanks!

If you're finding previously used settings are not retained for some saving methods consider File > Save Selection As... you'd need to highlight the section or all the audio before using this feature. I use it all the time and have the keyboard shortcuts on my muscle memory.

Save Selection As... always seems to retain the last used settings.

You can't save a profile as such, but Audition will remember the last set of MP3 settings you used - so if you never change them, they're always there. Works fine for me, anyway...

How do you save the MP3? I use "File - Save as" and it does not work that way. It offers the settings of the actually opened MP3 file, not the ones I used last time.

It should work fine like that, but generally I use Export>File and it always comes up with the same parameters if I select MP3.
