Hey guys
so I've had the rodecaster pro audio mixer since January and a new update came out for multitrack features but only when connecting the mixer to your computer through USB. So for the life of me, I've tried recording through audition using this mixer on my MacBook Pro 15 inch 2018 model. It has a 2.9 GHz Intel core i9, 16 GB RAM, a Radeon pro vega 20 4080mb etc
For some reason, after configuring the hardware in audition's preferences I go to record in multitrack mode and try recording through the mic that I have assigned properly and it won't come through. No audio comes through the recording and no waves are in my track after I record.
On my mixer, the audio is coming through no problem but just won't go through the computer for some reason.
In a last-ditch effort, I connected the mixer to my desktop mac and had no dramas at all
but now I don't understand why it won't come through at all on my laptop but it will on the desktop.
Here are the settings I have on my laptop
Also my laptop only has lightning usb cables ports so I had to use an adapter to connect the mixer to my computer, I don't know if that should lead to an issue or not.
My desktop computer is an iMac late 2015 model with 3.2 GHz intel core i5 24 GB Ram
I hope I've supplied enough info ,
Thanks

If the 2018 Mac has updated OSX to Mojave then that is likely your problem. See FAQ Have you updated your Mac to Mojave 10.14.1? Do you have no audio in now?
