Good question and I have no answer.  I too would like to alter the voice pitch for my character as "he" is  actively participating in a Zoom conference call - training session.   Is it possible to run voice through Audition or some other app to make this happen in real time?  Thanks.

I'll attempt to answer both questions: Pretty much all cartoon voices aren't manipulated at all - they are recorded by professional voice actors who modify their own voices to suit the character they are voicing. This sounds altogether more natural because the voicing parts of the sound (as opposed to the sound itself) is still understandable - which isn't the case with electronic changes, as a rule.

I did a quick search, and I cannot find any on-line pitch shifters at all - only ones that work on a file. Audition won't do it, either. I would have thought somewhere though there ought to be an app that does this - but if there is, it won't run in Audition - it would almost certainly be a stand-alone.

I was able to do this in wavepad (I downloaded a trial version) but as I have access to audition I wanted to be able to do it there - but can't find out how. Is there a trick to raising pitch or something?
