Hi,

is there a way to change the size of the waveforms in Multitrack-Mode without changing the volume?

Many greetings

If you mean make the track heights bigger, then just drag down on the divider between the tracks at the left of the track display.

Best regards, Euan.

Thanks for your idea, but I really only want to resize the waveform not the track.

Here an example:

In Multitrack, you can only do this by altering the clip gain - which would mean that you'd have to make a corresponding alteration in the other direction to the track gain. And of course that would affect the level of any clips you hadn't done this to, so it's not really ideal. In general I find it better to work like this, IOW get all the clips on a particular track so that their individual gains are reasonably equal; you get a clearer idea of what's going on in your track, and it can reduce the amount of automation adjustments you need to make.
