Changing the volume of Windows & Audition sound file ?!

Guest

Bonjour,

merci d'avance
cordialement

Windows sound volume is always independent of Audition. Audition can only alter the amplitude of the file, and this has nothing to do with the position of your Windows Sound volume, which just sets the replay level - they are completely unrelated.

There is no other function - you cannot do this from within Audition. The file level you can alter, but the replay sound level is determined by the Windows volume control - assuming that you are using an internal sound device. That is all you need - that is all that's available. In the back of my mind, I seem to recall in the back of my mind that there was possibly something else you could do with Cool Edit, but that's ancient history now.
