Corrupt data1.cab file on win10 audition 1.5 install

Greetings. My audition 1.5 on windows 10 was not recognizing the CD rom to write a session. It was suggested I remove then reinstall the program. When trying to reinstall, the process is halted citing the data1.cab file is corrupt. The original CD was for cooleditpro and was badly scratched when I upgraded to Audition 1.5. So, I have the Audition 1.5 and my serial number and that's it. I live in a rural area with very marginal satellite internet service, so I rather stick with what I have instead of the cloud.

How do I fix this??

Thank you.

Tony

If you have an account registered with Adobe you might be able to upgrade to AA3. You will need a little internet download capacity to get it but it might solve your problem. see the last post here:

Is that the 'data1.cab' file for CoolEdit or for your AA 1.5 install? I can't remember whether you actually needed to have CE installed in order to do the update or just needed a serial number.
