Cue Markers Disappearing

Just recently when I close and then reopen a project later, all the cue markers have disappeared.  This never happened before.  Does anyone know of a solution?

In Multitrack, saving cues is on by default. But if you do a 'Save As' and don't enable the checkbox to save them, then they won't be. But if there are markers present and you miss the checkbox, you should get a warning about it - did you at any stage see one?
