Cut clips along all selected markers

Here's the current scenario:

1.  I edit an hour long podcast, and use markers to mark any dead space and sections I will end up clipping out of the show.
2.  Once completed, I cut along the markers, then remove the dead space (ripple delete) and unneeded markers.
3.  As markers can get upwards of 300-400 or more, this as you can expect is a tedious process of going from marker to marker to cut the clips.

Is there a way to select all of the markers at once and cut the clips along all the marker points at the same time? I would love to see if this is possible, as it would literally take a good 30 minutes out of my workflow.
