Diagnostics, Mark Audio: Not recognizing silences?
Hi, I'm new to all of this. I am trying to run a diagnostics on a video to eventually filter out silences. I will import the markers from the extracted audio in Audition to the video file in Premiere.
So, when I try to set up the Diagnostic tool and run the scan, it appears that the sileces are not being correctly picked up. I'm sure it's a PEBCAK error, but I don't know enough to figure out wher I'm going wrong.
I THINK I am setting it to find any section of the file that is below -65 dB for longer than 300ms, and so this area of silence at around the 13 second mark should count? But when I scan, it is including that in the Audio section for that marked portion. What am I doing wrong?
