I started using Adobe Audition to record and edit podcasts. Everything goes great until I export (44100 Hz, 32 Float), when I click on the Mixdown file it sounds fine in Adobe Audition, but the .wav file sounds so different from the files I've heard over Audition. I've tried listening to the wav file on multiple devices, and different media plays and they all sound horrible except on Audition. The file in Audition sounds great, nice and clear with a good amount of bass, which is what I want. As a .wav it sounds so quiet with almost no bass and it sounds like the voices are in a tunnel far away from the mics.
I know this question has popped up over the years but I didn't come across an actual solution. My version is up to date, I even uninstalled and reinstalled it to make sure it wasn't just an old version.

Are you using the podcast template?

No, I started from scratch.

Whatever you do, don't use the Podcast template! From the way it behaves, I'd almost consider that it's trying to stop people creating podcasts, because the settings in it are truly bizarre.
But with your issue, I think that we need to see initially a view of the Mixer tab when the session is loaded, especially including the Master or Mix (it could say either) track.

Here is what I have. I am super new and learning as I go so hopefully this is what you were asking for.

especially including the Master or Mix (it could say either) track.
That is the specific item that SteveG asked you to show. It is normally the track showing at the extreme right hand end of that Mixer panel.

Quite. On yours, you are looking for a channel called 'mix', and by the looks of it, you'll have to expand your mixer display to see it.

Would this be it? That's as far as it will let me expand.

Yes, that's it!
And the answer is there also, I think! At the top of that panel is shown where the Mix output is being sent. In your case it shows "None". Click on the right-pointing arrow next to "None" and you should have various options, one of which may be "Default Output". If so, select it. If it is not there experiment with the various other options you see.

I tried every option available but every export still sounds the same.

So i've tried a bunch of different things and nothing has worked. I did a screen recording of the good audio Multitrack session to see if maybe that would work and the playback was the same as the wav files i've been getting. Could possibly be my computer? Literally nothing else has worked and I cant find an answer anywhere.

I think I found the issue, I saw a previous post where someone suggested to change the Audio Class to ASIO and install AISO4ALL, this mostly worked! There is a slight difference in the wav file but much closer than when I was getting before.
