hi

does fabfilter Q2 EQ Match work on audition cc last version in the multi track?

i spend a night to let it work ,without luck

in short Q2 Eq match should "listen" both track on the same moment

i guess in audition multi track it start to listen only track 1

thanks

Hi Steve

i load 2 different song on the multi track , for each i added q2 , and tring to let it work

As I keep telling you, the reason it's not working for you is that you haven't set it up correctly - or even at all

english is not my native language , many tutorials are in english , about i have not set it up correctly are you talking about the plugin? or the multi track

might you please give me more imputs ? i don't ask a steps by steps is too much

and maybe if you find a machine with audition and q2 ,could you test it?

because i like only 2 plugins the fabfilter Q2 and the izopope restauration suite

both expensive

thanks Steve

hi

i guess i did it

1) loaded 2 audio track in audition , send the first on the multi track 1 , send the second song on the multi track 2

2) i had to decided which Eq i want to copy  , track 2 -> effect loaded Q2

2) switch  to SENDS in multi track and sidechain Q2

and play

If the 'match' button is greyed out, it's because you haven't set up the inputs correctly - it is disabled until there's a valid input. Explicit instructions for Audition aren't provided, but there's a page on fabfilter's website describing the setup for several other DAWs, and I think that the setup is very similar to the Cubase one.

I can't show you, as I don't use it - I've got ears and a decent set of monitors for anything like that. But it's clear from the instructions that a) it will only compare with one external track (which is common sense), and that b) you haven't set it up at all - there are no sends to the plugin from either of your input tracks, for a start - and where's the track it's going to? The master track doesn't enter into this - you can't send it there.
