Editing Baby Cry Out Of Wedding Video

So I am not an audio person and have just learned the basics of Audition because I am desperately trying to get rid of or at least minimize the sound of a baby screeching during this couple's vows. I have heard that it would be easier with the CC version, but my Mac isn't new enough, so I have to use the cs6 version I have already. Can anyone suggest the best technique for this attempt?

Load the audio file into the Waveform edit view and turn on the Spectral Frequency view by going to the View menu and select Show Spectral Frequency view. If you play through the audio you should be able to identify the places visually where the babies cries happen. Then try using the Spot Healing Brush tool to paint out the cries. Depending on the relevant volume of the cries to the speech it may or may not be entirely successful.

There are some tutorials on using the Spectral Frequency view available. They refer to Audition CC but will work exactly the same in CS6.
