Effects, Volume work not saving

Anyone else having a problem with things like volume control setting and panning info show up panned right next time you load a project?

After making volume changes on a track and then saving the project then reloading the program the changes are not there..

How exactly have you made the volume changes? Please note that it is much, much easier to help you if we have a lot of detail!
