Hi,
I recorded a podcast where unfortunately on the day of recording there was some intense construction in the background (banging sounds). I tried the enhance on it and while it takes out the sound it also distorts the voice and makes it choppy.
Does anyone have any tips on a workaround? I dont mind a milk background sound as long as the voice is clear. The other option is to wait for enhance v2 to come out but it's already October and it's still not out.

I've noticed that excessive background noise is something that the enhancer really doesn't cope with very well - any longer, that is - it used to be better.
Several people around the web have also noticed that it doesn't seem to work as well as it did, and the complaints usually have the word 'robotic' in them somewhere. There are all sorts of conspiracy theories, but the explanation that makes most sense is that in a desperate attempt to reduce the processing time (and the complaints about it not working), the processing engine has been tweaked to favour speed over accuracy.
So we're already on Enhance v2, and it appears to be of lower quality than v1...

Also, of interest perhaps, Version 2 is now available. It's much faster and sigificantly improved.
