Essential Sound Section Empty?

Pretty sure I'm being stupid but I don't have the 'Dialogue, Music, SFX etc spaces...I just have the heading...how do I populate the tab?Essential Sound.jpg

Looks like you're in Waveform View.   The Essential Sound Panel is only populated in Multitrack since it only provides non-destructive effects.
