As the title says, on Adobe Audtion and while in the "wavform" editor, all of the opitions are greyed out. I am simply trying to fade out a track, however, I can only access this command under the "favorites" drop down. Thanks for the help!

Clips only get used in Multitrack view, not Waveform view. If all you want to do is put a fade on the end of a file in Waveform view, it's really easy - look for the little square box with a diagonal across it in the top right hand corner of the file, pick it up and drag it to the left - it will put a yellow line where your fade is going to be, and you can adjust the rate by moving it up and down. Takes longer to describe than to do!

For most fades, a value of around -19 to -20 is good, rather than -30 which will be rather abrupt!
