Question

Export Multitrack actual length of tracks as individual mp3 files

Why are all the Multitrack mp3 individual track files exported the same length?  Is there a way to export them without the silence at the end? I want the exported files to be the actual length of track.  For example, I have three tracks.  One is 30 seconds long, the second one is 20 seconds, and the third is 10 seconds. I don't want them all to be 30 seconds with silence.

In order to just mix down the length of the audio clip you need to do a Time Selection over the length of the clip. Then when you go to Export/Multitrack Mixdown and use Time Selection. Then you will just get files the same length as the wanted audio.

Thanks for your reply.  Are you saying to select one clip at a time or is there a way to do a Time Selection for all clips for all Tracks?

It all really depends on how you have your audio clips laid out on your Multitrack Tracks. The other alternative is to Export/Multitrack Mixdown and use the Selected Clips mode. You will have to go into the Mixdown Options to select whether you want the Master mix and which Tracks. It might help if you could post a screen grab of your Multitrack view.

Oh yes, the Selected Clips mode works just fine! I get each track at its actual duration.  Thanks for your help!!!
