My friend randomly sat next to someone on the bus who was involved in assaulting me. He took a video on his iphone to record what they were saying in which they are admitting to the assault. Unfortunately, theres too many other sounds going on to properly hear what the guys are saying. Is there any way to select a particular sound and cancel out the other sounds on adobe audition? I need to get rid of the rattling of the bus and another couple talking.  It would be extremely useful to be able to hear what they are saying on the recording as it then can be used as evidence. Thank you 🙂

It's difficult to do this - and because the recording will be demonstrably 'interfered' with, it would never be allowed in evidence. If I tried to present something like this in a court, I'd be laughed out of it. The only even remote chance you stand of getting something like this admitted would be if an agent certified by the court did it - and they'd need to provide the original as well to confirm the result. And I suspect that even then, there would be arguments...
