Free/Low-cost/cut-down version

Don't suppose there's any chance of it but I may as well ask.

I have volunteered with the local Hospital Radio station where I live for over 15 years and have use AA3 extensively since then; producing everything from promos to full programmes. But I probably don't use even 5% of the available features and effects; mainly just the ones around volume and evelopes (dB-related stuff.)

I would love some sort of 'cut down', basic version; or even happily pay a "buy-out" price (if it were affordable and not £100s; maybe up to £150 or so!)

I could start using Audacity as that has the basic features I need but it would mean abandoning everything I have done over the last 15 years!

Do Adobe not realise there Hospital and Community radio stations who might well be in the same position as I me?

If I were an industry professional then I'm sure £20 per month would be acceptable and afffordable. But I'm not and I can't afford it.

Sadly, I don't think this is on Adobe's radar. It's main audience is big corps and business.

Another alternative at the price point of free is Fairlight.

I would warn you however, there's a steep learning curve.

Sadly, you're probably right.

Will look at the program you mentioned. Still has the same issue, though. Unless it can import .ses files 🤷‍♂ 😁

Audacity not on that list 😠

I'm not an expert with AA translator.
I suggest you PM @SuiteSpot to check if a Audition to Audacity or to Fairlight will work.

Best regards, Euan.

Sorry. Can't edit original but thought I should clarify that the problem I am having is that AA3 doesn't always work with later OS's like Win 10 or 11.
