Generating Tones simulataneously?

Hello all, is it possible to generate a tone on multipled marked items in a given timeline at the sametime? In other words, If I have 20 marked items in a given audio track can I generate a tone for each of the items at the same time rather then selecting each marked item individually and then applying a tone.

If so, could you please provide the steps on how to do so?
