Any ideas how to start? Ought I to download a new driver?Or is the Windows 10 driver ok for it?

I have tried all kinds of settings but can't seem to get mic inputs to show levels or a waveform.

Thanks in advance,

David

In Audition's Audio Hardware Setup page what options do you see in the drop down list for Audio Driver in either the Edit view or Multitrack view pages? Do you see any for M-Audio?

Thank you for the reply. I have gotten bogged down in another thing as well, but I truly want to solve this one so I will do as you suggest and report back, perhaps with screen shots as I see others do.

I have used Audition 1.5 for many years but it will not run on this W10 machine, so Adobe upgraded me to 3.0. I typically work in multi-track view for tracking, recording individual tracks in mono.

I have that settings screen up. I have available either "Audition 3.0 Windows Sound" or "M-Track Quad ASIO Driver". When I select the latter, the input and output ports only display "analog inputs". Should I be able to list M-Audio choices? Also, what about the checkbox "Release ASIO Driver in Background" - how should I set that?

Thanks,

David
