Horrible Tech Support

Just went through 2 hours trying to to resolve what should have been a very minor issue (previous kb shortcuts were lost and I couldn't add new shortcuts).

Adobe tech reps can barely understand English. They have absolutely no product knowledge - the basic proc for adding a shortcut was a completely alien topic for 3 different reps. I finally found the answer on YT.

Adobe - tnis cannot continue. Unless you make it super simple to use your products, the onslaught of AI alternatives that are vastly more powerful and infinitely simpler is going to crush your market share.
You can't abuse customers who are paying hjuyndreds of dollars a year.

Much as we might sympathise with you about Adobe Technical Support these are user forums, not any direct contact for Adobe staff, so no-one here can do anything to help you, sorry.

Also of relevance here, I think: Audition 3 is now a very long-discontinued product.  It is not really reasonable of you to expect any current technical support person to know and understand it!

I'm sorry, but I don't think that Adobe is required to make any of its professional products 'super simple' to use. If you look around at the Adobe site, you will already find AI-based products in development (and out as beta products) that are being developed to take account of the needs of non-professional users and some indeed aimed directly at podcasters.
