Hello,

I found some information on how to debug the UI on Audion to make the fonts look bigger. I just got a new pair of glasses and the fonts on Audition are too hard to read.

I have tried Alt  + F12, but My Asus laptop brings up another app. I don't know how to edit my audio now. Is there an alternative key to press?

Well, I know what you read - or at least thought you read...

Actually the keystroke is Ctrl + F12. And please note carefully my comment underneath the instructions. There be dragons!

Hello,

Sorry for the late response. No matter if I press Alt + F12 or Ctrl + F12, I still get the MyAsus app up and not a way for me to fix the small font size in Adobe Audition.

It sounds as though you are trying this without Audition open. You need to have Audition as the focussed app before this will work, so you have to have it open first. What you are trying to do is get the Console active - by default (and to stop people wrecking their installations) this is not visible. When you have it open, you need to locate the AdobeCleanFontSize line and increase the number from its default 12. I wouldn't go too far with this, as you can cut off important information if it's too large. I keep it at 14 on this laptop, and that's fine for me.

This entry is a relatively safe thing to alter, but there are other settings available that you really shouldn't play with. Caveat Emptor.

Hi,

I have a similar problem. It's not my eye sight, it just feels that the whole adobe audition plateform has been reduced to 20-40% (the same as when you look at a web site but accidentaly pressed a "reduced zoom" buttom. Every thing is minuscule.

I have tried Ctl-F12 and Alt -F12 but nothing pops open.

How can I search for the "AdobeCleanFontSize" ? (Thought, it's not the font who seem to be a problem here but that everything is minuscule. I worked with AA before and it wasn't doing that...)

Thanks so much in advance for your help.

Making the interactive controls brighter might make for easier reading.

  1. Go to Edit > Preferences > Appearance
  2. In the Appearances tab of the Preferences dialog select General beside Editor Panel
  3. Adjust the three sliders there while looking at the Sample button (see screenshot)

Hello,

I was wondering how to make the fonts bigger. I'm nearsighted and farsighted.
