How do I change the mp3 export parameter defaults in CC?

I hardly ever have the need to export (or save) mp3 files as anything other than the 128k bit rate. And I also never need to include markers or meta data in them.

How can I change the defaults in CC so that I don't have to set them every single time I do an mp3 export?

    What should happen is that if you use 'Save As', whatever MP3 settings you use should be retained so that next time you use MP3, the same settings will be used. That said, I'm aware that there is at least one 'Save As' bug that's currently being fixed - although I don't think it relates directly to this. Anyway, try it and see...

    Thanks, Steve. Actually, I almost never use the Save As function. Most of the mp3s I make are exported from files of more than several minutes in length using many subclips. And, even though I'll change the value to export a job at 128k, the next time I export, the value has defaulted to 192k again.

    I realized after making my last reply that you may have been suggesting that selecting the 128k bit rate while doing a Save As might also hold true for Exporting, as well. So I tried that... but it wasn't the case.
