How do I download older version of Audition version 23?

Hi, my my computer doesn't support AVX2 so I'm stuck using versions 23 of Premiere and After Effects which is fine. Luckily the Creative Cloud app allowed me to download these older versions.

However, Audition doesn't have any option to download an older versions like many of the other apps do and the current version isn't compatible with my computer.  So how install Audition v23 which I assume works without AVX2?

Because of something their lawyers said years ago, Adobe will only let you install the current version and its -1 of any of its apps. If you had previous versions of apps installed, and you didn't uninstall them, then the CC app will let you run them. But if you did uninstall them, then the system won't let you reinstall them.

I have a little sympathy for your predicament, because it happened to me as well. I elected to upgrade the computer it wouldn't run on - that was a lot easier than having an argument with Adobe that I was pretty sure I wasn't going to win. If you want to take them on, then you will have to contact Adobe directly - we have no influence over this situation at all. Good luck.

Hi Steve I understand it's a legal issue but the 23.6.1 version is still a -1 version of the current 24th version and in my case I uninstalled it becaues it had an issue with Premiere and here in the forums the answer was to reinstall both programs and now I can't find it the normal way and I would not like to go to the seas and plunder the version I need and am already paying for. It is frustrating, is there any work around to solve this? I need this for work and solving this takes time. Thanks for listening I know you are here helping us

Actually the current version is 25 so 23 is not -1.  I just checked via my Creative Cloud account and the only "old" version still accessible to me is 24.

However, I do understand your frustration!  Following a complete computer "crash" recently - the machine would not even switch on, let alone boot up - I lost access to several "older" versions which had been still installed.  Thankfully, I didn't need access to any of them but ...

Ando por aqui por que tengo el mismo problema, todo iba bien con mi MAC PRO 2013, hasta que le di mantenimiento y se perdio mi audition 2023, Premier y After, ahora que quiero instalar no es compatible con mi MAC OS y no tiene la opcion de instalar version anterior como Photoshop entre otros, no me quedo otra alternativa que bajar uno pirata, lastima de mi compra que recien renove en 660 dolar, no me parece justo, y por si fuera poco hago llamadas a soporte de ADOBE y no he tenido exito.
