How do I find Adobe Audition CC tab in Windows version?

The Audition tutorials say to find Preferences (for audio input, etc.) under the "Adobe Audition CC" tab. I can see it next to the Apple in the tutorial vid. But I'm on Windows and the tab is not there! Where do I find it and how can I get it to the top menu bar so it's easily accesible?
