How to apply auto-heal edit to same segment of 2 tracks simultaneously?

I've got 2 tracks of exactly the same conversation between 2 people, recorded from each speaker's laptop. So it's louder on one track and quieter on the other at various points (and vice versa), depending on whoever is speaking. What I want to do is apply the auto-heal edit to the same segments of both tracks at the same time in the multitrack view but this option is disabled. Does anyone know how I can get Adobe Audition 2024 to carry out this edit? Also, it does let me delete the same segment from both tracks but how do I then move both tracks across the timeline to make it snap onto the previous section? Apologies if these are really basic questions! I'm a complete beginner.

None of the favorites work in Multitrack - this is not what they are intended for. And I'm not quite sure why you want to use Auto Heal for what you are attempting to do anyway - that's intended for specific glitch fixes.

Look, this may sound a bit harsh, but I really think that you should work your way through a few of the tutorial sessions before trying anything 'real', as you don't seem to have grasped even the basic fundamentals of how Audition works. Without a basic understanding of its workflow, and the important distinctions between its destructive (waveform) and non-destructive (Multitrack) modes, you really aren't going to get very far.

We're a U2U forum, and not really set up to provide basic tutorials - they're all available either directly from the software (Help>Audition Learn) or there are plenty on YouTube.
