How to create a Shortcut Process to Match Loudness for Spotify Audio

New Here ,
Jun 30, 2017 Jun 30, 2017

HI..

I have to send audio through to Spotify, and they have audio criteria which I need to fulfil.

On the match loudness facility on Audition 2017, is there anyway where you can create a Bespoke Match Loudness function ?

For Spotify, I need to have the have the following criteria..

RMS normalized to -14 dBFS

Peak normalized to -0.2 dBFS

How can I do this within audition ?

Any help gratefully received.

Thanks

Karl.

Karl,

Refer to this article.  Tweak the Tolerance setting to suit your needs.

Once you have made your settings in the Match Loudness panel Audition will remember it for next time. However Match Loudness is a batch process within Audition so you have to drop files into it's panel to process them. You can't apply it as an effect directly in the Waveform edit view.
