How to get back to the beginning of the track?

I am looking for a key command or a button to hit once that will take me back to the beginning of a track. Can you change the Move Playhead to Previous button to Move Playhead to Beginning? Right now I am having to drag the timeline cursor manually back and there has to be a better way.

What you can do is add your own keyboard shortcut.

Open keyboard shortcuts, search for "beginning" and one of the entries

is: "Move Playhead to Beginning"

Choose a key to assign to it. 🙂

The "Home" key does exactly this, at least on PC.  Similarly, the "End" key for the end of the track.

Is it different for Mac?

It depends. A lot of Mac users will have the small wireless keyboard.

So home and end are a bit different.

Yes, I use the Apple Magic Keyboard without the extra keys to the right.
