Hi. I need to use Audition for my school and can't figure out how to record audio from Safari into my Audition file. Another forum post suggested using Soundflower, but when I went to the page to download it, the application had changed to Loopback which costs $99 after a couple hours of using it. Is there another free application that does the same thing as Soundflower/Loopback?

Download/intsall (at your own risk) the Source-Nexus Free Audio Driver. Create an OSX Aggregate Device in Audio MIDI Setup, thus encapsulating Source-Nexus + your main Sys. Output device. Set your Mac's Output Device to the newly created Aggregate. Set (in Preferences) Audition's Default Input and Output to the created Aggregate as well. In your recording Session - assign the recording track input to the mapped Source-Nexus Input. Turn on Input Monitoring on your track and press record. Play your audio in Safari.
