Hello everybody,
As I wrote in the title, I need to remove a vocal part from a movie's dialogue cause i need to start a dubbing session.
I know that there's a function called Center Channel Extractor or Voice Remover but I'm not able to keep background sounds, that is what I really need.
So, remove vocals keeping bg sounds. I think that Center Channel Extractor and Voice Remover are too "hard" tools.
Some month ago i found a nice tutorial on Youtube but I think that the page was removed 😞
Any suggestion?
My Audition version is CC2014
thnx a lot
The Centre Channel Extractor effect is the only one that has any possibility of doing what you want. Try the Karaoke preset to remove the central dialogue. However this is never really completely successful due to the way the voice has probably been recorded. Also what is the source format of the audio file that you are working with? If it come from a compressed .mp3 it even more unlikely to produce the results that you want.

If you can get a 5.1 version of the soundtrack the dialogue will mainly only be in the centre channel, just turn it off.

You might want to try LyRuno, a voice separation tool for movies. It’s the only one I’ve come across that can separate dialogue and vocals when they appear together, and it’s even easier to use than UVR5.
