Hello!

I'm trying to record a DJ mix in Audition CS6 from my Rane 62 mixer and I'm having no luck. I've gone through a ton of tutorials directing me to Audition>preferences>audio hardwear... and then making sure that the default input says Rane 62... Ive done all of that to no avail. When I "arm the track" for recording, the curser moves as if its recording, but no wave-lenth is formed. It doesn't pick it up.

Please help!!

If you're recording in Multitrack view, you need to select more than just the default input - you need to make sure that it's allocated to the track as well:

In this example, it's the internal device in this laptop, but in your case you have to select the Rane.

YAAAAASSSSSSS!!!! bang. you nailed it. I had to got Default Stereo Input>Audio Hardware> Rane 62.... It showed:

    [01]M Rane 62

    [02]MRane 62

    [03]M Rane 62

[01] & [02] were unresponsive, but for some reason [03] fired right up and sounds good!

    Many Thanks SteveG!
