Increase Adobe Audition font size

How can I increase the font size in Adobe Audition CC? I'm using the program on an HP 27 inch LED QHD monitor. The text is too small for me to see without eyestrain and I will have to switch to another DAW if I can't make it larger.

You can't actually alter the font size since it is programmed into Audition. Which version of Audition CC are you using? The latest versions are supposed to be UHD monitor compatible. The only way that I know of is to increase the general Windows scaling size.

Has this situation ever been rectified? I downloaded the Audition trial... same as PhotoShop. Inaccessible to low vision. Someone will have to share if it works for blind individuals, but for low vision, actually anyone who can't see 12 dpi, it's more than challenging.

All the other RAW editors have the capability to change the desktop and menu font. I like Audition from what I can see with MS Magnifier. But, using this kind of adaptation is very difficult since the graphics aren't the problem and Magnifier, and many other screen magnification modification programs, enlarge either the entire screen, frame, or specific area parked or floating. That doesn't line up with the need. A customizable font is what is required---and not to change the entire Windows system font---it's horrible and negatively affects every other program.

The developers must be able to do this---the programs show amazing knowledge and skill. I don't understand why Adobe has chosen to leave the visually impaired and the seniors out of otherwise awesome software.

I'm not even visually impaired and the text is entirely too small without compromising my screen resolution.

I am wondering if this has been updated. I am struggling with the size of the font as well! I am not normally a person with vision problems, but am finding this unworkable. Help! Any other tips on making this work?

  1. CTRL-F12 (open the Console window)
  2.  Right-click on the Console window tab and select "Debug Database View"
  3. Type "font" in the search box
  4. Increase the value of "AdobeCleanFontSize" (14, 16, etc.)
  5. Restart Audition

This will increase many of the UI elements (but not all of them).

Warning: messing with some of the parameters in the Debug Database will render your installation non-working.

Strictly speaking, the Console shouldn't be accessible in release versions of Audition, but for some reason, at present, it is.

It looks like this is now disabled, at least on my edition. This is very important for disability access, and apparently, I'm now visually impaired because I have a very hard time reading this font. Any chance Adobe will change this?

It still works fine on the current PC release here.

Ctrl+F12 opens the Console window. But Caveat Emptor: it's potentially dangerous!
