Increase overall volume on audition MP3

New Here ,
Feb 11, 2024 Feb 11, 2024

Hey all!

Apologies if this question has been answered a million times.

I was just wondering how to get my multitrack audio levels to match my exported MP3 level? This is just for a podcast and every time the audio level is extremely low when it’s exported. I’ve tried the adjusting the panning mode from -3 to left/right. I’ve tried match loudness. I’ve tried boosting the levels as a waveform and exporting. Nothing seems to work.

Im not the most tech savvy when it comes to this so if it’s possible, could you answer like im a 5 year old? Haha

Thanks!! 🙂

Hi! This is actually really simple to do. Follow these steps:

  1. Make sure you're in Multitrack mode.
  2. Go to the last track in the timeline. It will be named "Master."
  3. Locate the "+0" directly under the track name. This is the track amplitude/volume.
  4. Increase the "+0" to a higher number until you're happy with the volume of the output. You can either type in a number (click the "+0" and it becomes an editable field) or turn the dial beside it clockwise.

In my screenshot you can see I've increased the Master output volume to +2.
