Is there a way to Zoom in and out like other apps?

I am looking to zoom in and out of tracks like you can with Photoshop and Illustrator. I think this would be a more efficient way of navigating than the zoom bar at top offers.

If you hold the mouse over either the horizontal or vertical zoom bar in the place that you want the zoom to centre, and use the mouse scroll wheel, you'll find that it zooms in and out with consumate ease.

Thank you and that does help. But I still would like to zoom specifically into one track like I can on an image in Photoshop using the zoom tool and drawing over the area.
