Is this possible? Editing a video in Audition.

I'm pretty sure that this is possible, but I want to make sure that it actually is before I spend a couple of hours or days watching tutorials and trying to figure out how to make it work.

I know that adobe audition has an auto silence remover. It scans your waveform and removes and clip that is longer than a certain time frame and under a certain decibel level.

Premiere does not have such tool. This is unfortunate because it would be very helpful to get rid of all the awkward pauses and such. Is it possible to edit a video in Audition? Like when Audition deletes the silent parts of the audio it also ripple deletes the corresponding video frames.

From some very light research I'm assuming that you can do this because I know you can import videos into Audition.

So is this possible and if so, is it relatively easy?

Er, no. No video editing at all is possible in Audition. Never has been. You can only play video in Audition.

So there is no way to apply Auditions auto silence removal or any tool like it to a video?

Er, isn't 'NO VIDEO EDITING AT ALL IS POSSIBLE IN AUDITION' clear enough?
