Izotope RX 10 Connect plugin error in Adobe Audition 2023

Here at the company where I work, we used the 2022 version of Adobe Audition and now we decided to update to the 2023 version. The problem is that the "RX 10 Connect" plugin no longer works with Audition. Before, with the 2022 version of Audition, the RX 10 Connect worked normally. Clicking on "Effects\VST3\Restoration\RX10 Connect" the plugin opens, but when I send the audio to the Izotope RX 10 the following error message appears:

"The RX standalone application could not be launched at path C:\Program Files\izotope\RX 10 Audio Editor\win32\izotope RX 10 Audio Editor.exe. Please reinstall RX to ensure that the application exists. Error code: 2"

I don't understand how Adobe Audition is looking for the 32 bit (x86) file from the RX, when the Izotope RX10 installed on the computer is 64 bit (x64). I think Audition should look for the 64 bit .exe file. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Izotope RX 10, but it didn't work. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Audition 2023 and it didn't work. So I decided to go back to the previous version of Audition (2022) and the problem continues.

Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?

Honestly speaking, I haven't figured out what happens. We now have the Adobe Audition 2024 program installed and upgraded. The version of iZotope RX is 10.4.0 and everything works normally. However, last week we decided to upgrade the RX to the new version 10.4.2 and the problem returned! What I did yesterday was uninstall version 10.4.2 of RX and reinstall the old version 10.4.0 and it worked normally again. In fact, it seems like this is a difficult mystery to solve.

I've got the same issue. if you just launch rx 10 manually, then follow the typical steps audition will give you an error but RX will load the file anyway, at least for me. A work around for now, hopefully it gets fixed.

Make sure that you've got the X64 plugin folder in your folders list. I just instantiated RX10 connect here, and it all appears to work fine (including file transfers), so it's going to be something local to you, I think.

When iZotope RX is installed it creates a folder in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 and puts all the plugins (DLL) there because in the installation I selected to install only the VST3 plugins, because Audition recognizes them natively. Also, in C:\Program Files\iZotope there is an x64 folder where the 64-bit executable of iZotope RX is located. It has always been that way and it has worked wonderfully as Adobe Audition.

Well, yesterday I decided to uninstall Windows 10 from my computer and reinstall it again. I deleted the SSD partition, recreated it and then reinstalled Windows 10 by doing a clean install. Now I will install Adobe Audition and then iZotope RX 10.4 as well. Let's see if this time it works.

Did you manage to solve the problem? I'm in the same situation on Windows 10 Pro. I've already tried reinstalling Adobe Audition 2023, I've tried reinstalling iZotope RX 10.4 and it didn't stop. It keeps giving this message when clicking on the RX CONNECT plugin in Audition. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?
