I am working in multitrack. (I WAS working in waveform, but support articles said I have to be in multrack.) I was looking at a tutorial describing how to remove breathing sounds. The guy showed how to do it a couple ways. The only one that really worked was the LASSO tool. I LIKED it. But I cannot access the lasso tool. Or any other editing tools.  I'm working in Audition 13.0.13.46.  I'm on a mac using Big Sur (11.1) I'm new to Audition. I like it a lot. But I can't figure this out.

Don't worry - we'll just ignore it for the time being... 😉

A word of warning though - don't get rid of all breath sounds completely - listeners find it quite disturbing, simply because it's unnatural. Obviously it's worth getting rid (or reducing considerably) anything that's intrusive but don't eliminate it entirely unless you're trying to create a robot.

Don't know how to delete this. I didn't have the CORRECT spectral display showing. Was able to access lasso tool, but decided that it was easier just to use onscreen handy amplify to lower the volume.
