I have found all sorts of information about reducing latency. I have tried most of it and I still have noticeable latency on my system. I do not care about reducing latency, I would just like to compensate for it. I can manually move each clip that I record back, but this is very cumbersome. How can I get the Adobe Audition to automatically shift each clip that I record back the appropriate amount to correct for latency?

Short answer: there's no way for Audition to do this "automatically" since it has no way of knowing exactly what is to line up with what. Nor has it any method of caculating the latency of your system, especially since, depending on the amount of data passing through the OS, such latency can "vary", I think. So, no go!
However, assuming you are using a PC(?), what audio interface are you using and does it have a dedicated ASIO driver? If so, using that is certainly going to reduce your system latency to the point where it can cease to be a major problem.
