Latest Audition updates are bad

New Here ,
Aug 22, 2020 Aug 22, 2020

Anyone else notice how bad the latest Audition updates are?  It's already been reported that Melodyne no longer works on it because of a bug on Audition's update.  Still no fix. Besides that, the latest update is so unstable the program is completely unusable.  It just crashes constantly.  I can't do not one simple thing without it crashing.  The earlier versions did not have these problems.  What is going on with Audition?

Hi runnitbak,

We're sorry about the poor experience. Is it crashing while doing anything specific or is it random? Also, please check if any crash log is saved on the system. It would help us to diagnose the issue properly.
Here is the default location of log files:

Windows: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Audition\13.0\logs

macOS: Users/username/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Audition/13.0/logs

Thanks,

Sumeet

LATEST
I recently installed the newest version of Audition and have not
experienced any crashes. However the popular vst plug-in Melodyne no
longer works. This has been an issue since May 2020. Many others have
reported the same problem in the Adobe Community. Melodyne worked fine in
earlier versions of Audition. Please look into this issue. Melodyne is
too popular of a vst to not be working properly.
