Question

MacBookPro Trackpad is no longer working properly

I am working with Audition on my MacBookPro from 2019. Since the last Audition update, I have noticed that my trackpad is not working as perfectly with Audition. For instance, the zoom function (two fingers on the trackpad) only works when I make fast and large movements with my fingers. Small, slow movements go unnoticed by Audition. Now I'm wondering if my MacBookPro has reached its technical limits. Does anyone know this problem?

Best regards

My Setup:

MacBookPro 2019

2.4 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9

Radeon Pro Vega 20 4 GB
Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

Ventura 13.4.1 (22F82)

May I suggest that you try the beta version and see if the same thing happens? If it does, then the place to report this is on the Audition beta forum bug page, which the developers are much more likely to see - they hardly ever visit the U2U forum at all.

Thank you very much for your response, SteveG_AudioMasters_. I just tried out the beta version. Unfortunately, it's the same there. I also tried Audition 2021, where everything works perfectly. Either it's a bug or my system is overwhelmed with the latest update. By the way: The command+c shortcut is also not working as simply anymore. I have to press command+c multiple times before the selected audio sequence is copied.

Yep having the exact same issue. Zoom feels really sluggish, I can't zip around like I'm used to. Has come on since the update (23.5)
