Make a male persons voice deeper

Hi,

I have creative cloud.

I would like to make a persons voice sound deeper.

The male persons voice is high pitched and I would like to make some subtle changes to make the voice deeper.

I have Audition, After Effects, Premiere Pro

I have played around with many presets but I am unable to get a deeper voice.

Can anyone help me

Effects>Time and Pitch (process) and take the check out of 'Lock Stretch and Pitch (resample)'. From there on you will have to experiment. This involves not using presets!

Thanks for replying, I am still unable to make the changes I am seeking. I have had a little success with the effect-auto pitch correction. Thanks 🙂

I'm not in the slightest bit surprised - auto pitch correction does something completely different. Try using the effect I suggested - you will almost certainly get on better.

Please mention that the effect is only available in Waveform view. And it does little job.

It works fine if you use it sensibly and correctly. And since it only works in Waveform view, there was no need to mention this.

No it doesn't! Tweaking the EQ does a little bit of a job but this doesn't help at all. It only makes the voice sound robotic. I would ask you to share a video tutorial with a raw voice and the final voice, so that I can also share it with my clients. Thanks.

Thanks SteveG - just happened upon this by accident as I was trying to give my VO talent a bit more grunt. It works!!!
