Making Use of Markers and "Track Names" Outside of Audition
New to Audition, first time poster, beginner's blues.
I'm in receipt of .aif files of live concerts. The person sharing them with me would like me to "index" and return them without separating the tracks. From what I gather, "indexing" in Audition is essentially adding Cue Markers with a start and end time and naming the tracks.
From there, I would assume I should just be able to export the file (including the Markers and track names) and share the file with the person (who uses Amadeus Pro). However, this has not worked as of yet. My question here is: how would you do this?
I've tried separating the tracks, which seems like the next obvious thing to do, but while the tracks play for both of us in (Apple's) Music and other apps, it does not play for the person in Amadeus Pro, leading me to think there is some kind of default setting that I need to locate (similar to the auto dB reduction in the Multitrack) that is impacting my exports. Are there any hidden settings that could be hampering the effort?
Can anyone out there lend an experience-based hand?
