Hi guys,
Having a little difficulty at the moment. Whenever I select 'M' for a marker in Adobe Audition my screen track places my view to the beginning or the end of the audio file. Is there a way to fix this?
I would like to remain where I am on the track view when I place a marker.
Furthermore, I was wondering if it would be one day possible to place multiple different markers. For instance, I would love to be able to maintain the word 'marker 01' when I select 'M' but I would also like another marker name assigned to a different key such as 'error' when I select 'E', and a third for 'multiple takes' when I select 'T' if that makes sense. This would make my work process far more efficient and streamlined.
All the best

The current situation regarding the CTI shift when you place a marker is known about - all we can do is wait and hope that they fix this in the next bugfix release.
As for assigning different keys to a different marker text - you'll have to put that forward as an idea. It won't get picked up in the discussion section!

Thank you, I'll have a little browse and post the idea 🙂

I work on deadline on a broadcast current affairs show. Even when not on tight deadline, but especially when ON tight deadline, this new bug is extremely problematic. To havew to go searching among a clusted of markers slows down edits a lot.

We have fixed this. To try it out, you can use the latest Beta build (Creative Cloud application -> Beta builds -> Adobe Audition) and let us know. The fix will be rolled out in the next public release.
