Melodyne 5 plug-in is ignored on mixdown

I just upgraded Melodyne essential v4 to v5. After upgrade the plug-in is ignored when I create mixdown of my project. v4 worked just fine. I've noticed trial plug-ins are ignored on mixdown, but I have the plug-in licensed and installed correctly. Any ideas?

There is currently a known issue with Audition and Melodyne, and the developers are looking at it. Which release of Audition are you using, and on what platform? Mac or PC?

I'm using Audition 13.0.6 with Windows 10.

I talked with Celemony support team but they were unable to help because Audition isn't on their compatibility list.

I can't say that I'm that surprised that they wouldn't talk helpfully to you about it. Even if they had, they would have been blaming Adobe anyway; that's what manufacturers always do. We don't think that this is actually a Melodyne issue though, so they'd probably be correct - for once. Normally VST issues turn out to be the fault of the people who take shortcuts when writing them, and Audition in particular doesn't like those; this has caused quite a bit of friction in the past, but also quite a few re-writes. Nobdy's immune - even Waves had to at one stage!

I also am using Melodyne 5.1 and Adobe Audition 2020 for my Virtual Choirs - but I have to use Melodyne as a standalone and import the audio back into Audition. VST says it's loaded, but it's ignored as jujujhrthrhrt says. Does anyone know of a plugin that works?

I am patiently waiting for an Audition fix.

Spent a lot of $$ for them not to play nicely with each other!

Dear Maggiezz, I have the same problem. But Pro Tools currently has a free version for a while. Melodyne seems to work perfectly with pro tools. There is a bit of a learning curve with Pro Tools but it is better than a non-functional, non-returnable program. I tried every possible option. Izotope (where I got the bundled version from) is worthless customer service. I am still waiting on a response from one month ago. I do not have a number for Melodyne. And adobe was useless as well. I hope this helps.

Can you give me some tips on how to use Melodyne in its stand-alone format? I cannot get it to work like that.
